About Me
Hi, I'm Jenna! I am a wife, mother, psychotherapist, and parent coach. I love to rescue animals, cook for my kids, and practice daily meditation and mindfulness. I am a native Angelino, an adventure seeker, and a nature enthusiast.
I am wildly passionate about helping people of all ages understand their emotions and behaviors and find creative solutions to their struggles. I trained at the prestigious Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, CA, treating children, adolescents, adults, and families. I provided intimate assistance to caregivers, facilitating parent support groups focusing on reflective parenting. I continued my love for working with teens as a school-based therapist at Beverly Hills High School and Moreno High School.
I have expertise in supporting adults, adolescents, couples, and families who have faced trauma and anxiety, and I hold a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Certification. I am also a Gottman-trained couples counselor and an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. I studied extensively at The Institute for Creative Mindfulness in order to incorporate mindfulness and meditation techniques into my work. Combining my studies and personal experience, I have crafted simple mindfulness-based coping tools to help individuals find calm in their lives.
My additional specialized training includes:
-
Body Image and Body Dysmorphia
