My Approach

My personal experience informs my work as someone who survived childhood trauma, suffered from long-term anxiety, and overcame postpartum mental health issues. My introspection and healing journey cultivated an interest in the science of the brain and body. It led me to obtain my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, emphasizing psychological trauma, from Antioch University Los Angeles, and I graduated Phi Beta Kappa honors from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor's in Communication. I utilize the crucial skills I learned to effectively connect with my clients warmly and thoughtfully, where we can establish mutual respect and trust. This foundation, coupled with my calming presence, allows for a comfortable and safe environment to grow and heal.

While we work together, you will gain a deep understanding of your feelings and emotions, and how they connect to past events and relationships. I will help you examine your own personal history, unconscious conditioning, and the ongoing barriers and defenses standing in your way of inner peace. During our exploration, we will focus on altering negative thoughts and behaviors, and I will teach you concrete coping skills to implement outside of our sessions to manage your stressors. These mindful strategies may include diaphragmatic breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, guided imagery exercises, and meditation. With my unique approach, lasting relief and a stronger sense of self are possible.

As a parent coach and perinatal mental health clinician, I will help you enhance your understanding of child development, learn how your early experiences directly impact parenting choices, improve your communication and conflict resolution skills, and incorporate positive changes into your family’s functioning. Given that I am a parent myself, I recognize how that role is incredibly fulfilling, yet navigating parenthood is overwhelming and presents many challenges. My treatment method is tailored to each person’s individual circumstances, helping you recover from perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, process pregnancy or birth trauma, and strengthen your interpersonal relationships. I partner with you to build resilience, restore balance, and facilitate your progress towards emotional well-being, honoring both the joys and struggles of this transformative time. Utilizing my own personal and professional wisdom, I will guide and support you along your journey.

Through my intuitive insights and vast knowledge of the brain-body connection, I offer a holistic opportunity to cultivate a profoundly sustainable internal shift for you, your family, or your romantic relationship. Wherever you are, be there… I will meet you.
